Staying on the diet will always produce that ugly scent coming from your mouth. Ketones will continue to be produced by your body if there are no carbohydrates to breakdown.

So the only true solution is to add carbs to your diet – and this means slowing down weight loss.

If you don’t want to go off the diet you can use breath fresheners that are carb-free. It is also suggested that you use strong fresheners to avoid embarrassment and to effectively mask the odor.

In order to find a cure for bad breath while on the Atkins diet, you must also drink more water (at least 8 glasses of water per day) and you can opt to use sugarless chlorophyll, parsley and dark green leafy vegetables.
